Our Homeowners Association is seeking the remaining funds to manufacture and purchase a rolling chair to enable our former President to live in dignity in the home he has known all his life.
Mr. Professor, who in addition to his career as a lecturer in the UK nuclear faculty, managed our house for many years and it is only because of him that we have as good a community in the house as we do now.
He now has significant mobility problems and has difficulty getting into his flat.
As the Associate Professor would very much like to live with us in the house he has lived in all his life, we have made a deposit amongst the owners for a rolling chair to enable him to move in and out of his flat. Unfortunately, however, we are short of some of the funds and so we are asking for help.
What will the money be used for?
The manufacture, purchase and installation of the AIR rolling seat.
Modifying the staircase to install the wheelchair.
In the event that more funds are raised than needed, the spare money will be used to modify the docent's apartment. In particular, the renovation of the bathroom and the purchase of a handicapped accessible bathtub.
