Help Vanessa overcome life's obstacles and make her dreams come true

Introducing Vaneska, a 15-year-old girl who, despite all the obstacles in life, dreams of a future full of colors, joy and hope. Our support is of great importance to Vaneska in view of her serious diagnosis. Likewise for her mother, who is raising her alone and is doing her best to provide her daughter with a safe home and loving care.

Although it might seem that she is growing up, Vaneska is still a little girl at heart who loves horses and painting. These two passions bring her joy and fulfillment.

Vaneska was born as a longed-for baby, but a complicated cesarean delivery was only the beginning of her life's journey full of obstacles. Doctors soon discovered that he was suffering from mild mental retardation, autism and a rare genetic disease called Loyes-Dietz syndrome. This syndrome affects her connective tissues, muscles and ligaments throughout her body, which brings not only physical difficulties, but also many other health complications. Vaneska is very likely the only person living in the Czech Republic who has been diagnosed with this disease.

So far, her mom has not been able to find anyone else who has personal experience with him and could share valuable advice and experience with them.

Vaneska's strength and desire to create

Vaneska is an extremely kind, sensitive and brave girl. Despite all the difficulties she has faced and continues to face - from health complications to bullying at school - she finds refuge and significant encouragement in painting and contact with horses. It was thanks to her love for these animals that she began to engage in para-sport - para-vaulting (gymnastics on horseback), which helps her stay active and fight against her health handicap.

Her big dream is to become a painter. He likes to paint horses, hobby horses and nature. Vaneska aspires to develop in this area, which is why the family organization Splnéné dětské prášné has prepared a unique experience for her - painting under the guidance of professional artist Jarmila Dittrichová. The intention is not only to fulfill Vaneska's wishes, but above all to develop her through this activity, show her new possibilities and help her discover a path that she can take and manage even with regard to her diagnosis.

How will the collection help?

Our intention is to help Vanessa overcome the obstacles she faces. With the help of other experts, we will develop her and provide long-term support for her and her mother. Together, we can help both of them feel relieved and feel that they have someone to lean on. We will support Vaneska in improving her talent skills, physical fitness and strengthening her self-confidence. Since they live alone with their mother and we know how difficult it is these days to cover all medical expenses, sports activities and school necessities, we will also help the little girl with the painting equipment she needs to continue creating.

What will the money be used for?

1. Realization of a film documentary: Splněné dětské přání is not a one-time event. A small document will also be created, thanks to which Vaneska will preserve the memories of her unique experiences, so that she can return to them, remember them and draw encouragement from them in the long term. At the same time, the film will serve as material for the public. The documentary should highlight the challenges that children with disabilities and their families face and how they overcome them.

2. Long-term therapeutic support: Part of the funds will be used for therapeutic support, which will help mom and Vanessa better navigate the world around them and how to make further progress. We realize how big a burden a parent has on their shoulders, and a child is only happy if he perceives that everything is in order at home. Our experts will therefore contribute their knowledge and experience to prepare individual care for the family and help them with the next steps.

3. Family support: Vaneska's mother, Jarka, is a single mother, who also unfortunately lost both parents. She struggles not only with the daily care of her daughter, but also with the financial expenses that come with expensive health care. Thanks to the collection, we will help her expand her knowledge and experience, where and how she can apply for subsequent forms of support for herself and Vaneska, and how to prepare these applications so that they are successful. The goal is not only to support Vaneska in her development, but also to ensure that her mother has enough strength and resources to continue caring for her daughter with love and patience.
