When Jessinka came to us three years ago, she was emaciated, blind in one eye, and her whole life had known only chains, pain, and repeated births. Yet she is the most amazing dog we have ever met.
She took care of her puppies with immense love. She even adopted a puppy from someone else, whom we saved literally at the last minute. It was as if she had never known anything bad herself.
She gradually recovered, became stronger, and became part of our family. She helps fearful dogs overcome their fears, loves children, spreads joy, and last year she even donated blood to save the life of another dog.
But this year, a blow came that we did not expect at all.
After a CT scan, we learned that Jessinka had sarcoma in her nasal cavity. A tumor that, unfortunately, cannot be operated on. The doctor told us that the only way to help her was radiotherapy.
After much thought, we decided to go for it. Because Jessinka is still happy despite her diagnosis. She runs after her ball every day, enjoys walks and shows us that she does not want to give up on life.
We had another CT scan and all the necessary examinations at the clinic in Vienna. We know that radiotherapy will not cure her. But it can stop the growth of the tumor and give her more time to live without pain and with the joy that she loves so much.
How will the fundraiser help?
We managed to pay for the examination ourselves, but the treatment itself is beyond our means. The radiotherapy will cost approximately 150,000 CZK.
We never thought that one day we would be asking for help for our own dog.
Jessinka came to us only for temporary care. She was supposed to go to a new home, but the interested parties kept postponing her departure. Weeks passed and I gradually realized that I could no longer imagine life without her.
But today she needs help again. A female dog who gives love to everyone around her.

V neděli to byl přesně týden od chvíle, kdy jste nám pomohli vybrat cílovou částku pro naši Jessinku. A my pořád tak trochu nechápeme, co se během těch pár dní vlastně stalo.
Když jsme minulou neděli chystali den pro Jessinku, bylo na účtu sbírky krásných 80 000 Kč. Už tehdy jsme byli moc vděční.
Pak ale přišel Petr Sokolík z organizace Běhejme a pomáhejme útulkům, přidal 20 000 Kč a vyzval vás, abyste nám pomohli.
A vy jste se do toho opřeli takovou silou, že nám to doslova vyrazilo dech. ❤️
Během pár dní se částka vyšplhala na neuvěřitelných 172 000 Kč a překonala tak náš původní cíl.
Těžko se hledají slova pro něco, co člověka takhle zasáhne. Každá koruna, každé sdílení, každá zpráva… za tím vším jste byli vy. Lidé, kterým nebyl lhostejný osud jedné psí holčičky.
Jessinka už léčbu ukončila. Nádor se podařilo zmenšit a ona si zase naplno užívá života. ❤️ Nevíme, kolik času nám spolu zbývá. Ale víme jedno, díky vám ho dostala víc.
A to je něco, za co vám nikdy nepřestaneme být vděční.
Navíc tím Jessinčin příběh nekončí. Peníze, které se vyberou nad rámec její léčby, pomohou dalším našim svěřencům, kteří stejně jako ona neměli štěstí na své lidi. Pomohou zaplatit operace, léčbu a dát další šanci těm, kteří si sami nepomůžou.
A tak vás chceme poprosit ještě o jednu věc.
