Help make wishes of little autistic Sebík, who is facing big challenges in life

I would like to present to you a collection that has a deep meaning and can fulfill the wishes of a little boy facing big challenges in life.

Sebík, a nine-year-old boy with atypical autism, ADHD and a mixed speech disorder, needs daily support and help to function as well as possible in his world and ours.

Even though Sebík is often shy and timid, he can be an incredible entertainer and showman. That is why his mother Lucie signed him up for the mission "Splněné dětské přání - How the film comes to life" and asked for help.

Sebík dreams of shooting his own videos one day. This collection focuses not only on fulfilling his wishes, an experiential activity that will help him develop, but also on long-term help for the little boy and his mother. Together we can take a step towards improving his communication and socialization and gaining much needed self-confidence. Let's support Sebík on his journey to his dream and help him discover the world of film, which fascinates him so much.

How will the fundraiser help?

Sebík is a boy full of imagination and a desire to discover, but he faces daily obstacles due to his health limitations. Lucie's mother says of him that he is a "praised baby" - his birth was already full of complications, but in the end he was born healthy. However, over time, diagnoses appeared that began to change his life and the life of his entire family.

Sebík is in many ways wonderfully perceptive, gifted, and his love for film is undeniable. On the other hand, he faces challenges that are easily manageable for other children – for example, crossing the street alone or buying pastries. Thanks to the support of his mother, teachers and assistants at school, he learns to cope with new situations and develop his abilities every day.

Sebík's dream of becoming part of the world of film is not only a fulfillment of his wishes, but also a way to learn how to better communicate with the environment and manage independent acting.

What will the money be used for?

The collection focuses on several key goals that are of great importance to Sebík and his family.

1. Fulfillment of Sebík's wish: Participation in the "How a film comes to life" project includes a shooting day with a real film crew, the opportunity to try different filmmaking professions, a visit to the editing room, and even a ceremonial premiere of the finished film. For Sebík, it will not only be an unforgettable experience, but also a huge opportunity to learn new things and gain self-confidence. He will have the opportunity to see the world of film from the inside and experience it firsthand.

2. Realization of a film documentary: Splněné dětské přání is not a one-time event. A small document will also be created, which will preserve the memories of his unique experiences for Sebík, so that he can return to them, remind himself of them and draw long-term encouragement from them. At the same time, the film will serve as material for the public. The documentary should highlight the challenges that children with disabilities and their families face and how they overcome them.

3. Long-term therapeutic support: Part of the funds will be used for therapeutic support, which will help the mother and Sebík better navigate the world around him and achieve further progress. We realize how big a burden a parent has on their shoulders, and a child is only happy if he perceives that everything is in order at home. Our experts will therefore contribute their knowledge and experience to prepare individual care for the family and help them with the next steps.

4. Family support: Sebík's mother, Lucie, is a single mother who struggles not only with the daily care of her son, but also with the financial expenses that come with expensive health care. Thanks to the collection, we will help her expand her knowledge and experience, where and how she can apply for follow-up forms of support for herself and Sebík, and how to prepare these applications so that they are successful. The goal is not only to support Sebík in his development, but also to ensure that his mother has enough strength and resources to continue caring for her son with love and patience.
