Help for our Ukrainian friend from MMA gym

Dear friends,

we are reaching out to you to request support for our fellow MMA fighter and a very good friend, who has decided to leave the safety of Prague and return to Ukraine to defend his homeland against the Russian invasion. He is a young man who could not sit idly by and felt the need to join the defense of his country.

To face this challenge, he needs military equipment – a bulletproof vest, various protective gear, and other essential equipment. We aim to raise enough funds to ensure he has everything necessary for his safety and effective performance on the front lines.

Who is Sasha?

Sasha is 22 years old and comes from Kherson. Before the Russian invasion, he worked on a cargo ship, and on February 24, 2022, he was in the port of Istanbul, from where he moved to Prague with his girlfriend. In Prague, he started training with us at Reinders MMA and during this time he had several successful fights. His performances in the cage and dedication to training prove he is a real fighter. However, his sense of justice and responsibility to his homeland did not allow him to stay safe in Prague. In the spring of 2023, he returned to Ukraine, where he began military training after several months.

What will the funds from this collection be used for specifically?

The collected funds will be used for protective equipment that the Ukrainian army does not provide. Specifically, these are:

• Ballistic helmet
• Bulletproof vest with ballistic plate
• Knee and elbow pads
• Tactical boots
• Gloves
• Backpack
• Uniform
• Various military pouches

Your support will help to provide Sasha with the necessary protection and equipment, allowing him to better face the dangers on the front line. If the target amount is not reached, the funds will be used for as much essential equipment as possible from the list above. In case more funds are raised than planned, the money will be used for additional military needs for Sasha and his unit.
