Come and play with us - with joy for the eleventh time

This collection will help finance the open-air concert Come Play with Us, which is for all shy musicians, as well as those who want to try out what it's like to play in an orchestra.

We invite everyone interested in playing a simple repertoire together.

Karolína Ruppert's children's choir hLásky will join the musicians again this year and perform the famous Ode to Joy and other compositions.

The highlight of the afternoon will be a performance by piano master Ivo Kahánek. T

he event will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, on Střelecký Island in Prague. The concert will begin at 3:00 p.m., and its public and only dress rehearsal is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.

Registration for musicians and audience members is free.

Anyone who can master at least part of the repertoire can participate in the performance on stage. The concert repertoire, including sheet music for rehearsal, is continuously published on the Harmonie Foundation website: Come play with us in 2026 | Harmonie Foundation

We want to help children and young musicians from all over the Czech Republic, who can come together to form a one-off orchestra under the baton of a professional conductor, with the support of professional musicians and budding musicians from the Harmonie orchestra. As a special treat, they will also have the opportunity to play with the renowned Czech pianist Ivo Kahánek, who is the patron of the Harmonie Foundation. The concert will also be supported by actress Simona Stašová, who has been the patron of the Harmonie Foundation since its establishment in 2009.
