Back Together – Support for Tereza and Her Son

Hello,

My name is Tereza, and I am striving to regain full custody of my six-year-old son. In 2019, I was living in a shelter for children and adolescents, where unfortunately the conditions were not suitable for raising my newborn son.

Since then, his grandfather has been taking care of him.

Thanks to the cooperation with social workers, I was able to obtain a social housing apartment in July, which is currently undergoing renovations.

I am very much looking forward to moving in there with my son and having a stable home.

Unfortunately, I am dealing with health problems — issues with my lymphatic and nervous system in my back — which currently prevent me from working. I am actively working on improving my health and, with the help of specialists and social workers, addressing all the obstacles in our way.

How can your help help us?

My son is currently in trial care, and we are living together with my father, his grandfather, while waiting for the apartment renovations to be completed. In order to take full custody of my son in October, I need to secure basic household appliances — a washing machine, refrigerator, and oven — costing approximately 21,000 CZK. Additionally, the kitchen renovation must be finished, including plumbing installation for the washing machine, which will cost around 7,000 CZK.
