Story for the Fundraiser – A Car to Help Those in Need

My name is Veronika Dančová, and I am the founder of the organization Jeden za všechny, všichni za jednoho (One for All, All for One). Since June 2024, I have been dedicated to helping people in need—families with children, seniors, single parents, and the homeless. I collaborate with a food bank and several organizations to deliver food and essential supplies to those who need it most.

But I have one major challenge—I don’t have a car.

Every week, I carry heavy bags of food on a cart, in my hands, or in a backpack… whatever works. Sometimes in the rain, sometimes in the freezing cold, sometimes up flights of stairs to reach people waiting for help. It’s not easy, but I refuse to give up. However, without a car, my work is becoming harder and slower.

A car would allow me to:

✅ Deliver food faster and more efficiently – instead of hours of walking, I could help more people in a single day.

✅ Transport larger amounts of food – no more limitations on what I can carry alone.

✅ Reach those who live further away – there are people in need, but I can’t get to them without a vehicle.

I am not asking for help for myself. I am asking for help for those I serve. With a car, I could do even more good.
