Hello, I would like to introduce my cat Akim. Akim is only 3 years old and has his whole life ahead of him. So I want to tell you my story, or Akim's.

On July 9, 2024, he found himself in pain late in the evening. I didn't know what was happening. I ran to the living room and saw him crying.

As soon as I got to him, I knew right away that something was wrong. His leg was completely bent and he wouldn't let anyone touch it. Unfortunately, it was too late for me and I automatically went to the clinic in Dolní Lutyňa early in the morning. There, what I thought was confirmed, but it was even worse than I imagined. According to the X-ray they took of him, he has a crushed joint, a dislocated, broken fibula and a broken ankle.

They kept him there that very day and he went for surgery the next day. The next day they called me, so I went to the clinic. They tried to save the leg, but by screwing the ankle together so that the torn ligaments could be fixed. They wanted to let the joint heal itself. The operation cost not a whole 8 thousand crowns. Yes, I thought I could handle it, but everyone finds themselves in a very serious situation

On Friday, July 19, 2024, he had a check-up and I was prepared that it would go well, but unfortunately, another blow came. Akimko's heel broke and floated away - outside the bone. After another X-ray, the vet decided to fix the leg with an orthosis. The next operation took place on July 29, 2024. It probably went well, but unfortunately this operation cost 7,788 CZK. Now the question is whether he will be able to handle it all. If any situation arises where he starts vomiting, etc. - he must be hospitalized immediately at the clinic. I am already in a bad financial situation. That is why I am asking the public to contribute to Akimko's treatment so that he does not lose his leg.

How will the collection help?

Today he is walking on his leg, but there is the word BUT. Unfortunately, his leg will not be 100% great and he limps sometimes and it hurts him, and that is why I would like to donate to his rehabilitation. Hopefully I will succeed and I will help at least with this.
