💜 Ciocia Czesia: Supporting Reproductive Justice for 5 Years! 💜
We are Ciocia Czesia, a volunteer collective founded by Polish activists living in the Czech Republic. Since 2020, when abortion was nearly completely banned in Poland, we’ve helped over 6,000 people access safe and legal abortions in Czechia.
We do this as volunteers, without salaries or personal gain.
Why?
Because in Poland, the situation remains dire. Nothing has changed in the past five years. People who are pregnant and don’t want to be — including those carrying non-viable or unwanted pregnancies — still cannot get the care they need at home. Their only option is to travel abroad, often while navigating huge emotional and financial burdens. That’s where we come in. We offer trusted information, logistical support, emotional care, and, when needed, financial help. But we can’t do this alone. And we never could have done it without you.
💸 How your donation helps
A safe abortion in Czechia for someone from abroad can cost over 11,000 CZK, a cost that many simply cannot afford. Your donation helps us:
- Cover the cost of abortions for those in financial need
- Ensure no one is forced to continue a pregnancy they do not want
- Support people through one of the most vulnerable moments in their lives
Every crown helps someone reclaim control over their body and their future.
